MIYU
From 5 June to 2 August 2026, the MIYU pop-up restaurant at the Dolder Grand offers a culinary journey through Japanese cuisine, where traditional techniques meet modern influences.
The name MIYU stands for beauty (美 – MI) and gentleness (優 – YU). These values are also reflected in the work of sushi master Atsushi Hiraoka. Born in Tokyo, he has more than 30 years of experience in Japan and Switzerland. Since May 2023, he has been Chef Japanese of the Omakase restaurant MIKURIYA at the Dolder Grand, which has been awarded 17 GaultMillau points.

At MIYU, carefully selected ingredients and precise preparation techniques take centre stage. The experience is complemented by a selection of sake, Japanese whisky and teas, carefully paired with each dish.
