Golf
Dolder Golf Club Zurich

Located directly next to the Dolder Grand, Dolder Golf Club Zurich is one of the oldest golf clubs in Switzerland. The 9 hole course stretches along the southern slope of the Adlisberg, surrounded by forest and offering views over the city and the lake.

While the course appears compact, it presents targeted challenges for players. Sloping terrain and small, well protected greens require precision and concentration. Play takes place over two rounds using identical tee offs.

NATURE AND RECREATION IN THE FOREST

The forest surrounding the Dolder Grand offers a wide range of opportunities for walks and hikes in a natural setting. Directly adjacent to the hotel lies an extensive woodland area with various trails and viewpoints.

Together with Grün Stadt Zürich and the local wildlife wardens, we are committed to protecting this natural habitat. The surrounding area is home to deer, foxes, badgers, martens, crows, jays and tawny owls, among other wildlife.

To ensure the animals remain undisturbed, we kindly ask you to observe the following rules
  • Do not feed or touch wild animals
  • Do not scare or harm animals
  • Observe them respectfully from a distance

Particular care is needed in May and June, when fawns are hidden in the undergrowth. Even if they appear to be alone, they are not abandoned – please do not touch them.

If you spot an injured or sick animal, please inform our reception. We will immediately contact the responsible gamekeepers.

Together, we can help protect the wildlife and preserve the unique natural surroundings of the Dolder Grand.
