Rolf Sachs

Inspiring, unconventional design

Rolf Sachs has created a concept that blurs the lines between the worlds of art and design. His aim is to surprise the viewer through his conceptual approach and inspire them to see the world from a different perspective. For the interior of the Saltz restaurant, he has repurposed elements from the Swiss landscape and used cultural references as his source of inspiration.

Special at Saltz restaurant

From Farm to table

Join us at the Saltz restaurant and enjoy the very finest local beef, fresh from the Holzen farm in Ennetbürgen. Sustainability is important to us: the meat arrives straight from the farm as a whole side of beef – all further preparation is carried out by the kitchen team at the Dolder Grand. We aim to use every part of the animal, so depending on availability, you will have the opportunity to try everything from stews to special cuts, flank steak, brisket, osso buco, beef tea, offal, tomahawk steak and much more.

Offer valid from 9 January 2019, at lunchtime and in the evening, limited availability.

Wine

The perfect accompaniment to every dish

The wines served at the Saltz restaurant are presented to guests in six wine cabinets in the entrance area. Swiss wines are the main focus, and are complemented by rarities and niche products from Europe and a varying selection of open wines.
