Concierge tip – explore the Zurich uplands by e-bike

Our concierge Jan-Luca Funck has put together an 80-kilometre route for you, including stops at two lakes and eclectic eateries. Complimentary e-bikes are available for guests to borrow at the concierge desk. And for an additional charge, we can pack you a picnic basket if you like.

The tour starts with a ride down the Zürichberg to Dübendorf before continuing on to Kemptthal and Kyburg, where you can visit the medieval castle. The route then follows the River Töss to Wila, where you head uphill again to Sitzberg. It is well worth the effort, though, as the inviting Sternen Sitzberg restaurant with its panoramic view awaits you at the top of the climb.
After heading back downhill, you arrive at Lake Pfäffikon, where you can cool off in the crystal-clear water and/or take a timeout at the Gasthof Hecht restaurant. Shortly afterwards, you reach the Greifensee lake, where the Landenberghaus offers another opportunity for refreshment and replenishment. The final climb on the last stage takes you from Fällanden to the Dolder Grand via the Loorenkopf tower. But there is no need to worry, as the views more than make up for the exertion. Otherwise, simply press the turbo button.
