Sports facilities right on your doorstep
The Dolder Grand looks out over the Dolder Golf Club Zurich’s challenging 9-hole golf course (a handicap of 30 and a club membership card are required). The season runs from April to November; equipment can be hired on site.
The five clay courts of the Zurich Tennis Club, together with a clubhouse and restaurant, are situated behind the Dolder Grand. The season runs from April to October; equipment can be hired from the concierge.
The Dolder Bad public outdoor pool is situated in idyllic natural surroundings just a five-minute walk away from the Dolder Grand. In addition to the outdoor pool, which is 50 metres long and 17.5 metres wide and has a diving board, there is a tree-lined lawn covering 10,000 square metres with areas for sport and sunbathing, four table tennis tables and a volleyball pitch, as well as a children’s play area with two paddling pools and a sandpit. The season runs from May to the end of August; use of these facilities is free for guests of the Dolder Grand.
Next to Dolder Bad, you will find the only minigolf course in the city of Zurich. The season runs from May to the end of August; equipment can be hired on site.
For those who want to head out on a cycling tour on one of the many trails surrounding the Hotel, the Dolder Grand provides high-quality mountain bikes free of charge (advanced registration required). Guided tours can also be arranged upon request.
Regular Nordic walking tours in the nearby Adlisberg forest are offered as part of the group fitness courses at the Dolder Grand Spa.
Jogging and training runs
Discover the invigorating natural surroundings of the Dolder Grand. In the Adlisberg forest, there are three marked trails of between 4.7 and 10.8 kilometres in length. A fitness coach from the Dolder Grand will accompany you on your training run upon request.
