Sports throughout the winter

The Dolder Grand offers plenty of opportunities to keep active in the winter: from ice skating, ice hockey, curling and Bavarian curling on the 6,000-square-metre Dolder Kunsteisbahn (open-air ice-skating rink) to winter sports at one of the nearby ski resorts.

  • Team activities

    Enjoy sporting activities togethere

Whether with friends, family, club members or employees and business partners, team sports on the ice help to build and strengthen relationships. Dolder Kunsteisbahn provides everything you could possibly need – including equipment hire – for a vast range of sporting activities, making it the ideal location for all kinds of team events.

    Fondue in the igloo tent
Enjoy an aperitif on the terrace and a great view of the action out on the ice with your guests. A classic cheese fondue in the igloo tent provides the highlight of the evening. Our new event location is the perfect setting for unique gatherings in comfortable surroundings with 25 to 50 guests.

    Bavarian curling
Bavarian curling is a simple sport that can be enjoyed by anyone and has a centuries-long tradition. After a short introduction and a few practice rounds, we will treat you and your guests to a friendly team competition following the international rules of the game.

    Ice hockey
We can organise ice-hockey training, matches or mini-tournaments for you and your guests on a reserved section of Dolder Kunsteisbahn.

Under the guidance of a professional, small groups of six people or more can discover the art of curling in the curling hall at Dolder Kunsteisbahn. Following a brief theoretical introduction, you and your guests take to the ice for a few practice ends before competing in your first match or mini-tournament.
