Health and safety measures
On Monday, 16 March 2020, Switzerland’s Federal Council declared an “extraordinary situation”, thus expanding the measures for containing the coronavirus pandemic. The concluded rulings also apply to the Dolder Grand.
First of all, we are pleased to inform you that the Dolder Grand will remain open.
The health of our guests and employees is our highest priority. It is of utmost importance to us that we seamlessly implement the concluded rulings and provide the authorities with the best support we can in these difficult times. The measures will affect the service we are able to provide.

The Dolder Grand Lobby – Enjoy the artistic ambience
Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of our lobby, with its historic elements, modern design and contemporary art, while we serve you drinks and snacks, as well as home-made cakes, tortes and pastries. Sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.
The art of patisserie
Enjoy the masterpieces of our Pastry Chef Christian Hümbs in our Lobby. On our cake trolley, you will find a wide range of dessert creations you can enjoy at the Dolder Grand or take home with you.
Keeping you entertained in the evenings
Relax and enjoy an evening of musical entertainment. Live piano music is played in the lobby every Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm.

Due to the current situation we will continue to serve food and beverages to our hotel guests between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm in the lobby. However, in accordance with the new statutory order, external guests will not have any access to these services.
