Health and safety measures

On Monday, 16 March 2020, Switzerland’s Federal Council declared an “extraordinary situation”, thus expanding the measures for containing the coronavirus pandemic. The concluded rulings also apply to the Dolder Grand.

First of all, we are pleased to inform you that the Dolder Grand will remain open.
The health of our guests and employees is our highest priority. It is of utmost importance to us that we seamlessly implement the concluded rulings and provide the authorities with the best support we can in these difficult times. The measures will affect the service we are able to provide.

Top restaurant Zurich – gourmet experience above the city

Two restaurants and the Bar make eating and drinking at the Dolder Grand a memorable experience. The Restaurant (2 Michelin stars, 19 points GaultMillau), the Saltz restaurant (14 points GaultMillau) and the Bar are open to non-residents as well as hotel guests. From the terraces, there is a magnificent view of the city, the lake and the Alps.

Culinary delights at home

Whether it’s for your lunch break while working from home or a delicious brunch at the weekend, you can now take home the delicious patisserie from star pastry chef Christian Hümbs and Dolder Hotel Classics like Caesar Salad or steak tatar from Saltz restaurant. The finest chocolates made by Chef Fine Dining Heiko Nieder are also available. From 1 April you can enjoy as well the flavours of the Arabian Nights created by Oriental Chef de Cuisine Firas El-Borji.
