The Dolder Grand

Zurich’s top address since 1899

175 luxurious rooms and suites, world-class restaurants, a spa covering 4,000 square metres, spacious event facilities and an art collection boasting more than 100 works,
including originals from Takashi Murakami and Salvador Dalí: the Dolder Grand, which opened in 1899 as the Dolder Grand Hotel & Curhaus, is a luxurious City Resort in the
truest sense of the word. The Hotel treats its guests to magnificent views over Zurich, the lake and the Alps. The Dolder Grand Spa and the nearby woods offer plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation. And those who would rather dive into the vibrancy of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities can reach the centre of Zurich in a matter of minutes.

The Dolder Grand as a social hub

The Dolder Grand is much more than just a place for guests to stay the night: The Hotel on the Adlisberg is a social hub, a melting pot, and one of Switzerland’s top
addresses when it comes to culinary delights. Its lobby and the Bar regularly host the local and international scene, who flock to the Dolder Grand to network, socialise and enjoy a drink with friends in a laid-back atmosphere.

As one of the few luxury hotels with this distinction, the Dolder Grand now boasts its own Spotify channel, Studio 8032 The Dolder Grand. The playlist is perfect for all situations and occasions and brings cool Dolder flair to the guest’s own home. The party tunes and chillout sounds are sure to evoke wonderful memories of their recent hotel stay.

History meets modernity

Between 2004 and 2008, the Dolder Grand underwent extensive renovations. The renowned, London-based architecture practice Foster and Partners combined the Hotel’s historic Main Building of 1899 with modern architectural accoutrements. While the exclusive, subtle decor of the Main Building exudes a uniquely historical character, the two new wings embody the contemporary zeitgeist.
