Ballroom or Gallery – Event Location in Zurich

At the Dolder Grand, you and your guests can experience good old-fashioned luxury in a surprising new form. Be it in the Ballroom for a wedding or in the Gallery for a banquet, a seminar or a meeting; as a conference hotel, for presentations or other events – our exclusively appointed rooms for 12 to 900 people provide the perfect setting.


An imposing room for magnificent events

The oval Ballroom at the Dolder Grand can accommodate a wide range of seating arrangements, making the 400-square-metre room ideal for conferences, seminars and banquets. The imposing cupola ceiling can be lit in vaious different colours. The parquet flooring is ideal for evening balls, and the walls covered with a layer of Alcantara ensure perfect acoustics. The Foyer has enough space to serve as a reception area, which can be extended onto the adjoining terrace, if required.

Garden Salons

A spectacular view is included

The three Garden Salons in the Main Building have direct access to the outdoor terrace. The exquisitely appointed rooms can be booked individually or in combination, offering a total floor space of up to 409 square metres. The three Garden Salons have carpeted floors and feature indirect lighting from a segmented ceiling, as well as a Swarovski Crystal curtain. Combinations of between 120 and 409 square metres are possible, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide a spacious feel and flood the rooms with light.

Traditionally English

Both Libraries offer an intimate living room atmosphere with a distinctly British flair. The cosy living-room feel is complemented by the fireplace, paintings by Dutch Artist Abraham Bisschop, antiques and travel literature. These rooms can be booked individually or in combination, and are ideal for family gatherings, meetings or cocktail receptions.

Breakout Rooms

For small meetings in exquisite surroundings

A total of five Breakout Rooms, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, are available in the wings. These bright rooms are equipped with the latest technology, and are particularly suitable for meetings, presentations and small workshops.
